1. Exodus of Win32 and EuGTK developers

Attn Parnell and Mullins:

Sorry to see you guys go. I deeply appreciated
all the work that you have put into making
Euphoria work on the desktop.

May I suggest and/or request that you post
your last release(s) to the user contribution
page with a note stating that the library has
been discontinued and no longer supported?

I do really hate to see you guys go, but
I understand. Thanks again - your contributions
over the years have been deeply appreciated.

I seriously doubt that win32lib will ever be unsupported. It is certainly
possible that it will be less competently supported than under Derek.
The same may be true of Irv's EuGTK. It certainly seems to be the most
matrue and popular GUI lib for Linux, but I seriously suspect that
someone will pick it up.

I hope your right, of course. Both of the Libraries are hosted on
remote sites. I think it would be a pity to suddenly find one day
that either or both were suddenly not available at all.

Irv may very well be right about Bob (RDS) needing to provide an official
GUI/IDE. Its all so very sad - many of the best Euphoria programmers -
David Cuny, Jiri Babor, Derek Parnell and Irv Mullins to name a few, have
contributed so much of their time and talent toward the development
of tools to facilitate the use of Euphoria - now they are gone.
(metaphorically speaking of course).
