I can confirm that trace does not work above 300 lines in exu (Linux).

I just checked ListFilter (Linux) with 2.5, and trace does work
above 300 lines. I tested trace(1) and trace(3).
Maybe you had exu for 2.4 on your path.
Type: exu to see what version it is.
Also, remember that on Linux the current directory is
generally *not* searched first.

Bizarre! I renamed exu from my 2.4 directory just to be sure. The odd
part is even though I had run ./exu from the 2.5 directory, it still
picked up the version from the 2.4 directory. Thank you for the tip.
