What I thought it did was interface with the official flash player to control playback, but you seem to decode the swf yourself. If it had been 100% complete it would have been useful, though I would not dare to request such a massive amount of work to be done, and I haven't got time to do it myself. What I was looking for was a way to interface with flash to show an swf file one has chosen oneself, and I think the way to do that is through ActiveX. But I have no idea on how to do that.
