1. POVray ProjK and NeilGUI
Hello all,
I want to take a little band-width to thank those who pointed
me toward POV-ray. It is very powerful and relatively easy to
use. I may indeed use it for the sprites in my game. Nothing
is written in stone yet but I'm definitely leaning this way.
Those who are interested in keeping informed about the
project: I will periodically update my website with info.
http://geocities.com/keroltarr/
look under "Project K"
this page isn't yet very informative or even necesarily
up-to-date. It will get better in the future. You might want
to check every few days if you are interested.
Also, I am still working on NeilGUI. I want to commend Mike
Hurley on his GUI4Neil lib. He seems to be coming along a
lot faster than I am with my lib and has a few controls that
I don't yet. I am currently still working on TEXTBOXES for
NeilGUI. When I'm done, this control will be able to act as
an MLE, SLE, or Static Label. You will be able to click on
a TEXTBOX and the cursor will go to that location, allowing
insertion in the middle of text. I hope to have this done by
next week (If I don't spend too much time playing with
POV-ray
later,
Lewis Townsend

Lewis-
How about you tell me what features you want to use in the game and I'll
add/fix up them to my GUI4Neil library. That way you can work more on the
POV thing and other things that need your time.
