1. LibCGI v1.5 - new release!
Hi everyone,
I just finished a new release of LibCGI; it's been added to my site
at http://tenbux.iwarp.com/.
This version has lots of added features - multipart forms, HTML markup,
and better I/O. It also fixes a few bugs, but adds a few too ;)
Has anyone tried this out yet? I'd be interested in any feedback.

Here's what I get when I try:
Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.
Binary files stored on FreeServers must be accessed by a local link on a
FreeServers user web page.

I did a little experimenting, and it looks like if you try to access a
binary
file (image, zip, etc) directly, it gives you a "Permission Denied" page.
Website hosts sometimes configure it like that to cut down on traffic
(like other
people linking to your images); wotsit.org is one example.
So to download my files, it looks like you'll have to hit the homepage or
files/
directory first. Sorry for any inconvenience :) From what I've seen,
nobody links
directly to any of my files, so it shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Nope.
Same result whether clicking the link from your homepage, or from the
files directory. Just an error html.

Hrmm... it looks like it's probably a temporary server problem then. Did
this always happen when you tried to download something? What browser
are you using?
If anybody else is having similar problems, feel free to jump in :)

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this.
I found a free web hosting service that will let me write my own CGI
scripts. They have Perl 5 set up on their system, so I think I'll learn a
bit of Perl. I doubt that they'd let me install Euphoria on the server
anyway.

What's the host's name?
If you want a webserver with Euphoria on it, you could always setup
your own box ;)

Actually, I signed up at two servers. http://www.cgirealm.com and
http://www.virtualave.net .
Cgirealm is terrible! Most of the time it won't even accept accept my user
name and password. So far Virtual Avenue has been very good.
My url is http://benl.virtualave.net/ (there's nothing there yet but an
'Under Construction' page, and a *very* simple CGI script). I hope to get
something up there soon.
I don't have the resources to set up a server on my own computer (seeing as
it ain't technically my 'puter :).

When I was moving my site from homepage.com, I had considered using
Virtual Avenue, but somehow I ended up with FreeServers :) I wasn't
aware they had CGI though...
