In the IL disassember readme: 23: S_ACTIVE used at runtime, I think. S_ACTIVE is incremented when a subprogram is called so the interpreter knows whether it is dealing with a recursive call. If S_ACTIVE is > 1 then paramaters and variables are pushed on the stack. See execute.e procedure opPROC() ===================================== Too many freaks, not enough circuses. j.
