On my machine (2.4GHz, Win2K, 750MB RAM) edita and wxIDE run very similarly,
with edita being slightly faster at paging down.  Win32Lib comes up pretty 
instantaneously on both wxIDE and edita.  wxIDE doesn't do any sort
of look ahead to parse anything, other than splitting the lines and converting
tabs.  It's a bit of a memory hog, but generally runs pretty quickly.  I 
pretty much use it exclusively on both win and linux at this point.  

I think most of the actual bugs are gone now, though the way it works 
tends to be to how I like to do things, so some people may not like 
that (I plan to allow for more options in the future...).  The truly unstable
part is the visual GUI designer, which I've started working on.  The bulk
of the code is OK, but I've abandoned the scanning and inserting nicely 
into code.  It's going to be simpler now, but still very useful.
