Is Topica the only way to subscribe to this forum via email?
I've used Topica before, and the old mailing list prior to that. I'm interested
in trying out Thunderbird and I was wondering if Topica was the only way to
receive the list via email or news. It would be cool if all of this could be
echoed on a newsgroup if a non-Topica mailing list was unfeasible.

I've been using Thunderbird. It's pretty good.
I experimented with creating an RSS feed for EUforum.
Thunderbird can read RSS feeds. However there seemed to be
a few problems with using RSS, so I don't plan to go ahead with it.

Jason, if you want you can use the local mail- and news-server Hamster
<http://tglsoft.de/>, and change this mailing list to a local newsgroup.
In case you have problems concerning Hamster, you can ask in one of the
real newgroups about it.

Nah, I'll probably just subscribe to Topica or continue using the listfilter web
interface (which isn't that bad).
