Rob, Can you be a little more specific as to how your reliance upon the Watcom compiler is going to allow LINUX users to more effectively utilize the C source code produced by the forthcoming Euphoria > C Compiler/tranlator. Watcom C is not available for LINUX is it? So won't LINUX users still have to rely upon GNU/GCC to compile the the translated code to into an executable file? You seemed to imply that Watcoms DOS32 graphics routines will now run on LINUX. Furthermore, it appears from scanning the Open Watcom Web page that, initially at least, the free Watcom compiler will only be available to registered users of previous versions of Watcom C. I am quite eager to see Euphoria LINUX, both the interpreter and /"C"_code compiler be given attention commensurate with that of its DOS/Windows ancestor. Should Euphoria LINUX even be given the same release level designation ( 2.2 ) when it lacks graphics routines equivalent to DOS32? I am befuddled -as always, :) :) Ken Rhodes _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
