Anyway, what I need is cross platform high resolution timers. I would like it
if you could make hirestime.e cross platform, as I already use it. :)

I'm not surprised that your email bounced. You'll be quite more succesful
using oedoc at free dot fr.
If you search the forum for hirestime.e, you'll see that I recently asked
R. Johnson whether he was interested by merging his lbrary with mine. This
would be a good library probably. No reply so far.
And, since I have no linux/BSD box here, I currently cannot make it xplat
myself. Of course I could pilfer Ryan's work, but I didn't think it would be
fair.
