------=_NextPart_000_0034_01C00840.81654240 charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable ya im aware of that :/ turns out the problem is more complex then just commenting out reverse() (and the stamping statement thusly) from misc.e .... it appears (so far) that users with eu2.1 or prior can run EUServer fine...but 2.2 (with the reverse() function commented out) seems to be giving a memory error... all this was reported to me only a day or so ago, and i havent been able to get cracking on fixing it... was planning on tackling it today/tommorow... (downloaded 2.2 last night to test it here) if there is anyone that got EUServer to work with 2.2 already, you could save me some time by letting me know what u did/fixed etc... :) (phsshhhh im lazy, sue me) i already forsee a rather large problem making EUServer compatible now with 2.2 AND prior versions of EU... i can see already that i'm gonna have to dig out my=20 function overloading reference manual blech! --Hawke' ----- Original Message -----=20 From: =F0=20 To: EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU=20 Sent: Monday, August 14, 2000 8:04 PM Subject: Problem (EUserver) Hawke , I`m having a wee bit of a problem . If you want to expiriment (i dont recommend it thou...) you can go into MISC.e and COMMENT out the already present function reverse. Make sure you only comment... And after that, you probably will get another error... Hawke tried to run me through EUServer but it seems something in EU 2.2 is making it do things...<shrugs> =p ~later~
