Note - your name does not appear on your message - all we know is that "somebody" is going camping. ===== Original Message from Euphoria Programming for MS-DOS <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> at 8/16/00 4:11 pm >I'm going camping on thurs. John - My system shows that the message was from Paul Kerslake; do you, by any chance, have "headers" turned off on your email app? Ben: You bet. All email clients worth their salt keep headers turned off (I figure) - John ===== Original Message from Euphoria Programming for MS-DOS <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> at 8/16/00 4:21 pm >John - >My system shows that the message was from Paul Kerslake; do you, by any chance, > have "headers" >turned off on your email app? > >Ben Fosberg >BenFosberg at att.net >

I'm continually trying to sort out the variations and inconsistencies between various mail servers and clients. My current client (the Netscape mail app) displays From and Reply-to, but not, by default, all the verbose routing info. I seem to recall that Outlook only gave an all (complete routing) or none choice (no From/Reply-to displayed in message itself - From only visible in the Outlook "Inbox" listing). What are you using, if I may ask, and do you have a particular reason for hiding From/Reply-to info? John Coonrod wrote: > Ben: > You bet.
