Well we are all giving some consideration to these now.
My question relates to the total amount of , linearly , addressable
memory that's possible with this c/c++ , Dos based , compiler.
Is this limited to 128 Mbyte , as is Euphoria 2.0/2.1/2.2/** ; under DOS32 ?

<surprised look in Canada's direction>
Surely you can get a 128meg to test this? Put the 128 in the box, test it with
192,
then pull the 64 and put it in Ms Junko Miura's puter as a birthday present!
Jeeze, even
*i* can justify 128meg in at least one puter!, <astonished loop> and i'm not
even
pinning financial hopes on a new programming language's R&D! (well, i sorta am,
get
the ram, Robert!)

By implication DJGPP uses the improved Causeway.
In theory TeraBytes of RAM/memory should be linearly accessible using the
386/486 32-bit addressing scheme.

64MBytes is now standard on most machines , 1GByte of RAM is possible on
some slightly newer machines ,the only requirement at the moment being that
you have adequate funds.

The primary distribution site for djgpp is SimTel.Net, which is a large =
collection of software for various systems. The primary FTP site is =
Walnut Creek CDROM's SimTel's archive, ftp.simtel.net in the =
/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/ directory. There are many other SimTel =
mirrors, so try to find one close to you.
Once you find the closest FTP site, the things you want to read first =
are v2/readme.1st and the DJGPP FAQ.

A good place to look would be http://www.delorie.com/
>what does it mean if (game) source code uses allergo?
It means that it uses the Allegro game library, wich has a website of its
own at http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/

>i can download? i already have vc compiler.
Probably around 10 megs. Having VC won't help you as it's Windows-only (?).
