I don't think Netscape likes trumpet anymore. Wait, It gets better. I downloaded and installed Internet Explorer for Windows 3.x platform just to get the Dial-Up Networking that supplied the socket code that Netscape likes. Yeah, That's right. I said, I had to install Internet Explorer on Windows 3.x to get the newer Netscapes to work. Good Luck, Lucius L. Just out of curiosity, why not access the web with Eu, then send the page to whatever browser you like? You could make the Eu window look like a floating get_url line on the page_display window in the browser,, maybe? Kat

EU>cz/arachne/ >> EU>David Mosley EU>New Life Computers EU>pmosley at infoway.lib.nm.us I'm forever attempting to get my browsers to function correctly , I gave up on Internet Explorer for Win 3.x , when I discovered that this didn't support frames and was excrutiatingly slow ; or at least that's how the thing appeared to be. To then install an adobe reader/browser alongside IE and the possible errors start to multiply. In an attempt to get a frame capable browser I also used Arachne , version 1.41 , even using a RAMDRIVE with this ; to see what was possible ; seemed to go like a turtle on skates , for awhile . The difficulties happened when I attempted to download large files or animated webpages straight to the RAMDRIVE . The sttings appear to be critical , I'd like some advice on how to set these , as is I resort to using this browser ; netamer . Alongside these , I find I require a pdf reader , a dos based one with features very similar to adobes' , for Win3.x, is preferred. Net-Tamer V 1.11 - Test Drive
