1. Please change the search system in EUforum.

Hi,

I am not sure who controls EUforum. With all due respect, would it be possible
to please change the search system? Maybe facilities like "and", "not", "first
post", "response", etc., as is available in other forums? Otherwise, this being
the best documentation for Euphoria, it is like searching for a needle in a
haystack. I am sure many of the senior members are bored with trying to explain
the same things over and over again to newbies like myself just because we can't
find their appropriate previous posts. For instance, just searching for "Error
461" throws up more than 8,900 messages with many of them not even related to
"461". It took me quite a while to find Derek Parnell's update for the RichEdit
Error 461.

I am sure if the Masters will it, it will be done.

Thanks for a wonderful package otherwise.

If you add double-quotes:
   "Error 461"
you'll get about a dozen messages.

I've geared the system to use scoring rather than
logical connectives, but I agree that as the number
of messages grows (now over 70000) we will need
more precise ways of searching.

Ok, now I know who to dump my EUforum woes on to.

Hope you don't mind if I keep reminding (not harassing) you of this (your
admission) from time to time until "done it is".

Thanks.
