Hello all, I'm new to Euphoria... looks like an excellent language! I downloaded a colored directory lister called xdir from the archives and I'm getting some odd error messages when I execute it in the root, i.e. C:\, directory of my Windows XP Pro (Media Center) PC: C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator>cd \ C:\>xdir Serial number:E81F-27E2 06/05/2007 09:12:32a Volume:HP_PAVILION c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2016 in function format_entry() slice lower index is less than 1 (0) 04/12/2007 06:25a <DIR> 6a10610f947d0c62917865 ... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2090 in procedure display_entry() 05/23/2007 06:21p <DIR> ANSIPLUS ... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2523 in procedure normal_display() 05/23/2007 11:57a 67 AUTOEXEC.BAT ... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2924 in procedure display() ... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:3345 in procedure main() ... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:3353 --> See ex.err Press Enter... At this time, I'm just executing xdir through a batch file as suggested in the script's documentation. I put the directory xdir, including the batch file, into the path... The script appears to work from other directories. Perhaps there's an updated version of this script? Thanks, Paul McCarthy pmccarthy002 at nc.rr.com

I can't reproduce the problem but if you could send me the complete ex.err file it would help a lot. Send it to me privately as it is best to keep long listings off the forum. Larry Miller
