1. problem with xdir in root directory...?

Hello all,

I'm new to Euphoria... looks like an excellent language!

I downloaded a colored directory lister called xdir from the archives
and I'm getting some odd error messages when I execute it in the root,
i.e. C:\, directory of my Windows XP Pro (Media Center) PC:

C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator>cd \

C:\>xdir
Serial number:E81F-27E2 06/05/2007 09:12:32a Volume:HP_PAVILION
c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2016 in function format_entry()
slice lower index is less than 1 (0)
04/12/2007 06:25a <DIR>         6a10610f947d0c62917865
... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2090 in procedure display_entry()
05/23/2007 06:21p <DIR>         ANSIPLUS
... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2523 in procedure normal_display()
05/23/2007 11:57a            67 AUTOEXEC.BAT
... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:2924 in procedure display()

... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:3345 in procedure main()

... called from c:\euphoria\xdir\xdir.exwc:3353

--> See ex.err

Press Enter...

At this time, I'm just executing xdir through a batch file as suggested in
the script's documentation. I put the directory xdir, including the batch
file, into the path...

The script appears to work from other directories. Perhaps there's an
updated version of this script?

Thanks,

I wrote XDIR some 3 years ago and haven't looked at it in a long time. I can't
reproduce the problem but if you could send me the complete ex.err file it would
help a lot. Send it to me privately as it is best to keep long listings off the
forum.
