In a separate message, I will tell you that I am upgrading this computer = of mine. I have less than 20 minutes before I have to disconnect cables. = Anyway, I don't know about this man's problem. I posted a message to a forum, and he responded as such. He is not a member of this list, so please send mail to him privately. I sincerely hope he isn't flooded wit= h replies, but reply anyway. His complete address is From: Brian Dengler, [104722.1675 at compuserve.com] -------- Forwarded Message -------- = Subject: Euphoria Date: 03-Jun-98 at 10:53 = From: Brian Dengler, [104722,1675] TO: Alan Tu,[102534,2165] = Alan, I was very excited to read about your endorsement to Euphoria. I wa= s looking at a good starter language. I took Fortran 20 years ago and, needless to say, I don't remember it. = I'm one of CompuServe's attorneys and I'm trying to learn some programmin= g to qualify for the patent bar exam. I downloaded Euphoria, unziped it, found about bunch of files and had no idea what to do. When I clicked the "install" file, it launched DOS, it looked like a bunch of DOS files opened, and then I got completely lost. = I can't seem to find or open the program. I don't know if Euphoria is like = C, where you have to open an editor, and then you jump through hoops to compile it. = Any suggestions? BTW, I do like the fact that Euphoria can flex with file sizes. I thought= it is extremely cumbersome to assign file sizes, etc. as in C. = Have a great day. Brian = =
