Consider the programming languages QBasic and EUPHORIA as, say, tennis rackets. They can both help you play the game of tennis, but when yielded by different individuals, they can become either air-swipers or ball-smashers. Then again, imagine bringing a bat to the tennis court. Languages are like this, aren't they? P.S. All my EUPHORIA programs work. Most of the time. ;) > -----Original Message----- > Everybody seems to snipe at the various dialects of Basic, but nobody > mentions the one great advantage of Basic: Programs written > in Basic work, > but in my experience programs written in other languages > (including, so far, > Euphoria) don't work.
