Once you know C++, you've got it made. Good points, Norm. And really bad as well. Why? Because, frankly, many people who take a look at C just toss the book/software/whatever and walk away. It's too scary. I did that, after being a paid BASIC/COBOL/PASCAL programmer for 10 years or more. Both Turbo C++ and Mix C went into that great bit-bucket in the sky. The problem here is, we're likely to lose a lot of people who might otherwise become pretty good programmers (PGP!)
