Note it says:
PARKA computes property inheritance inferences using a version of Touretzky's
inferential distance ordering algorithm (IDO). Examples of such inferences are
"Where are all the tanks?" or "How many trucks are yellow?". This algorithm uses
the SIMD model of the CM-2 to spread markers across the semantic network.
The propagation of these markers is controlled ........

by the "goddess" computer. You can't get good results with a otherwise
uncontrolled
nnet. Even with their 65536 separate nodes in expencive hardware in a
superputer.
