Hello,
more and more I receive mail from this list which looks in my mail
window like that above: I has to be opened especially in a browser
window. Is there a special switch the sender has to set to avoid this?
Must I set a special switch?
Any recommendations a appreciated. Thanks, Rolf

What mail program do you use? In Outlook Express, everything appears fine to
me.
Pete King.

* UNFORTUNATELY * this is a sender setting, ( HTML ), and I imagine a lot of
people don't know how to change it to plain text, even if they wanted to.

Try using an email reader which only displays plain text and doesn't try t=
o interpret the
web browser codes. I am now using Pegasus, *without* the extra
java/javascript/activex/etc stuff. It's all that stuff, plus VB, that lets=
viruses such as
ILOVEYOU virus run. Didn't someone write an email reader in Eu some time b=
ack? If
so, you could set it up to filter whatever you want removed from the email=
, and then read
it in a text viewer, web browser, or stuff it into the .eml files in your =
Outlook Express dir.
