Brian, The new version of win32lib does work with winsock. I now have a program that does everything v1.0 does, plus two sound effects. If there are no messages, the program will still pop up a dialog and also say, "You have no messages." in digital human-like female voice (RealSpeak demo). Likewise, if you have messages (one or more) the program will say "You have mail.". The voice is a bit boring, but I think this is a nice touch. Of course, if anyone wants the program, e-mail me and I'll send it to you.
