As some , if not most , of you are now aware ; I'm have some difficulty with my browser[s] . In particular , niether of my present versions support frames. One Dos based browser that appears to do so is known as Arachne , I'm unable to locate their site and doing an extensive search of the web with my present browsers is going to be difficult , to say the least. Therefore , if anyone uses Arachne or/& knows their present address, e-mail etc ; please leave details on the list or reply to me directly. Net-Tamer V 1.11 - Test Drive

EU>Date: Sun, 21 May 2000 09:24:21 +0200 I managed to download the main file from the ftp site awhile ago , however there's another ,complimentary file . ftp://fddisunsite.oit.unc.edu/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/internet/ arachne/ARCN141B.exe..you might need to stop at the internet/ directory then change web directory , through the usual method and manually select the arachne file. A Dos based ppp [ point to point protocol ] file that's recommended for use with arachne ; may reside , with the most recent version of arachne at one of the addresses you gave [below]. I found the browser to be a bit slow , then I put the whole thing , directories and all , on a ramdrive ; now things are considerably faster. I'm investigating how to save the files I download from the net to my hdd , from within arachne ; there appears to be some problem in exiting arachne , this is only an issue when running from ramdrive. I don't think this was written in a modern language , the file access through this software , via an index file , is slow. Eventually I shall go back to my C , assembly and Euphoria projects. I can now get through to www.rapideuphoria.com , though presently , i encounter the webring or pete ebliens homepage.
