1. Keyboard Hijack
Does anyone know how I can 'spoof' keyboard and mouse events? (at least,
that's what it would be called under X windows).
I've got a VR headset, but I'm finding that the software provided with
it is less than adequate for my needs. Thus, I want to try rewriting it.
The software takes the headset data and converts it to keyboard and
mouse events, thus letting you use the the headset with games like
DOOM and heretic that don't have the drivers natively.
My problem is that Im' not familiar enough with either DOS or win95 to
do this, yet.
Also, can you run a Euhporia program in the background, similar to the
way you can on Unix? (or like a daemon. I guess that's basically what
a TSR is, yes?)
I guess my basic conceptualization of this is a TSR that polls one interupt
(the one the headset uses) and converts it to signals on another (spoofing
the other input devices), or converts it to entries on an event queue.
Thanks.
