If you like Euphoria, you will love Python. Try it in the meantime,
it's free. And if you are not heavily into graphics, it is also an
incredibly powerful eclectic mixture. (Sorry, Robert, I said 'in the

Me too! It does not have to be a windowing package,
just something like vers. 1.5a, but for Linux.
Linux seems really solid, and you can multi-task
(even if Euphoria couldnt', you could log on as different
users, and run several copies of Eu.)
I just don't have the patience to write stuff in C<gak>
in order to use Linux.

I tried Python, but I'm not a fan of object oriented languages and at least
Perl lets you not be OOP if you want to. (Although to my displeasure it's
leaning OOP heavily these days. Gimme Perl 4 back!) But I did like the
syntax; very lucid smile
