I've been using David Cuny's ee.ex for ages, with no complaints (except that
I can't compile it, since I don't have Watcom--DOS mouse issue).

Not really, although it might make sense to have a prominent link on the web
page to IDE/editors written in and for Euphoria. This could be a big help
to newbies [esp to programming in general] who often are confused about what
tools are necessary for developing apps. Rob could mention this resource in
the docs. Given the editors out there, I think that there are better things
for Rob to focus on.

hi Ken
i do use ed.ex and try other editors. but i feel i pressure myself by
coding and running code right away, lots of bugs then.
i currently use another program , ActionOutline to work on my ideas.
as the name says, i create outlines which i easily break down into
functions and procedures, as well as the writing the main loop.
it can export in such a manner that the euphoria interpreter can use.

a feature i would request is: outline style editor that has a library
or dictionary to pull previous works from.

thanks

CyrekSoft's EE editor is much better even if it has a few
minor bugs. It is better for programming because it list subroutines
and can allow you to jump back and forth between subs. Can do
search and replace, work on multiple files, use the clipboard
to transfer code back and forth between Windows and Dos, go to
a particular line number, and etc. Now if Carl would only get
some time to correct those bugs.
