Chris:
Why not install linux on your old laptop ?
This eliminates the causeway dos extender.

2. RE: Causeway

Thanks for the replies - still looking for euphoria 1.3 (I don't think
it'll work either).

Linux is a good idea (I'm using the laptop to connect via the phone to a
Linux box), but I haven't found a program as good as dos kermit yet to
communicate (I know there's a linux kermit, just haven't tried it yet),
and the laptop has a 510Mb (thats Mb) hard drive, and no cd rom. Current
solution - a new laptop has been bought (a pentium 75!) running win95 -
this multitasks quite nicely for its needs.

Thanks again, Chris.

5. RE: Causeway

sorry ted

i use the web view of topica and didn't realise i couldn't send
attachments by topica's private mail, nor see your email address.

my own email address on the list is also out of date (which takes a
little while to fix) so please send requests by private mail to
indorlaw at primus.com.au

don't be worried if i'm slow in responding - it's approaching 2am here.

regards
tacitus
