I'm wanting to use a very old laptop with a task switching program I found (Triple dos), with kermit and a Euphoria printing program. The problem I have is that when I run Triple dos, and then try to run the euphoria interpreter, I get a 'CauseWay error 03 another program is using extended memory in an unusual way' error (or similar, can't remember the exact syntax. I have tried messing with the swap file environment variables to no effect. What I would like to know is there either some way of disabling CauseWay (to only use conventional memory), or is there a version (perhaps very old) of Euphoria which doesn't use Causeway. I know there are other ways to do this, so its not really that vital, but it is a problem that is bugging me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris.

Euphoria version 1.3 (search the Web for euphor13.zip), and earlier did not use CauseWay. They used DOS4GW. I switched to CauseWay because it was better in most respects than DOS4GW. If you buy the source to Euphoria, you can easily build a version that uses WATCOM/DOS4GW, or the DOS extender in DJGPP, or various other freeware DOS extenders. I doubt that any of them would solve your problem, but you never know. Regards, Rob Craig Rapid Deployment Software http://www.RapidEuphoria.com

That was the first package translated into Russian. And you *can bind for free* with that Eu and learn what was that binding in 1996 without the Complete Edition Very very good, but very very obsolete, what to do, Rob is working as the bee. The new 2.3 binder will make 2 passages to remove the unnecessary code from the binded libs. Regards, Igor Kachan kinz at peterlink.ru
