Hi
I know this is way off topic, but just wanted put it out there that Mark Sibly, the developer of Blitz Basic and other programming tools died early December 2024.
I mention this because Blitz Basic was one of my earliest introductions to commercial programming tools (I hesitate to use the word language, because it's basic and not exclusive to Blitz), and it's impressive to know that a lot of programs written then still continue to work today. I emailed hima few times, he always answered and seemed a thoroughly decent chap.

Sorry to hear about that. I didn't know any of this existed but - wow. A great language and a great guy who will be missed.

Sad to hear. I never really used Blitz Basic, I played around with a little after it became open source. My first programming language was QBasic though.
