1. Display Server

Al, The more I use Display Server, the more I like it. With every program I write now I use this for debugging. And I have a couple of functioning programs that write normal output to this server. I wonder if you still plan to provide some of the updates mooted a while ago? These included: - Colours (not so important to me) - Scrolling (very useful) - Pretty printing (very very useful) Thanks, -- Craig

I'll have to get back to this and at least add that functionality very soon. I dont think colors will be too hard to add, but pretty printing should already be supported via my own pretty printing routines found in the archive. Actually called "Pretty_Sequence", these routines allow your code to create a pretty sequence and then send it to Display Server or possibly a Rich Edit control or other Edit control too. In fact, now that you mention it, i put a note in the description of Pretty Sequence in the archive that mentioned the output can be sent to Display Server :) There's also other options with Pretty Sequence that can change the delimiters so that you can format a sequence into something that looks like say a directory listing (without the '{' and '}' characters normally found in a print of a sequence). It's quite versatile that way so you may find that useful to use with the Display Server. Take care, Al And, good luck with your Euphoria programming! My bumper sticker: "I brake for LED's"

It was there all along! Thanks Al, that's all I need with this program! Cheers, -- Craig

I hope you get some good use out of it. You also reminded me that at some point i meant to integrate a version of that D.S. with my command line Eu debugger.
