When a windows exe is compiled the resources are linked into the
the executable file. There is no external bitmap.

Lucius and Rett pointed out to me that you are refering to the
animated bitmap in the upper right corner.

Those BMP's are located on my system a directory called CUSTOM in the ie5
  folder.

Use your FIND command in Windows and do a search *.bmp in the ie5 folder.
Click on the BMP's that you find, and when you find the one you want then
use the name to search the registery.

My apologies to all. I don't usually respond in private. I prefer to
be openly public. I have recently changed the way the email headers are
sent to me VIA the Euphoria listserv. This causes my replies to
automatically be directed to the poster of the message instead of the entire
list. I just know become aware of my error and will attempt to not make the
same mistake in the future.

PS: My preference to be public isn't because I want to openly bash peoples
mistakes. It is so that all can learn from each and every message.
