My Edita bookmarks don't seem to stick when I shutdown/restart my computer. Is this normal? Don Cole A Bug is an un-documented feature. A Feature is a documented Bug.

Edita was not processing WM_ENDSESSION or WM_QUERYENDSESSION messages. It will be fixed in the next release. For now, you need to close Edita before shutting down the pc, in order to save bookmarks and folds, and for that matter any modified files. btw, when you restart, does Edita re-open automatically by any chance? Regards, Pete PS this message may appear twice. -- petelomax at fastmail.fm -- http://www.fastmail.fm - I mean, what is it about a decent email service?

My lady was taking to me and I sent to early by mistake. Now, I tried closing Edita before I shut down and I believe still same problem. I will experiment and let you know. Hello Pete, For some reason it appears to be working now whether I shut down with it open or not. It being Edita. If I leave it open or not on shut down , it does not restart on restart computer. I'll let you know if this problem starts again. Thank you for your help. Don Cole A Bug is an un-documented feature. A Feature is a documented Bug.

Unless it got sent prematurely. Anyway the last time I restated my computer and started Edita I got 'Fold file did not load properly'. And of course the bookmarks are gone. I started and restarted my computer seveal times yesterday, sometimes closing Edita before shutting down othertimes leaving Edita open on shutdown. Either way the bookmarks worked everytime. And now today? Maybe I have a virus or something. But I don't think so. I'll let you know I can narrow it down as to what kind of shutdown is causing the problem. Thanks Pete for your help.
