I just got this email:
You've been removed from the developers team on the OpenEuphoria organization. Cheers & Ocotocats, Github Support
Should I take this as a hint to stop work on documenting?

haha, NO! We set up more specific roles, and I think you were just moved to something more specific and less general. I'm sure Greg can expound on that.
It was more of a move to prevent the Euphoria/euphoria repo from getting pummeled by errant commits.
(Please don't stop helping with documenting.)

No, you still have access. I set up a separate "editors" group which has all the same access, but cannot push directly to the repo.
I really should have done that from the beginning as direct push access should be limited. So you're the inaugural member of that new group.
