Tomaaz from the allbasic forum has reported that phix segfaults on Debian (specifically Sparky/Solus).
Has anyone here managed to run phix successfully on debian?
Also, Tomaaz is having difficulty registering on this forum, can someone look into that?
Pete

He had sent us an email last week but apparently I had missed it. I've activated his "Pirx" account now.

Yes, I had a working Phix on 32-bit Sparky Linux (it's a rolling release distro based on Debian), but it stopped working after a system update. Then I tried to run 64-bit version on Phix on Solus (it's an independent rolling release distro), but it returns segmentation fault. I know that rolling release distros are less stable than, let's say, Ubuntu or Mint, but I didn't have similar problems with anything else. OpenEuphoria works on both distros without problems, despite being older than the latest Phix version.

I have not been able to use Euphoria on my VPS, which is also Linux. It also segfaults every time. It is 64 bits but with low memory. I cannot trace with gdb but it seems to happen in code generated for a routine called myscanf. I tried all debug flags. Fortunately, Euphoria runs on my home computer
