Just a suggestion for future reference... wouldn't it be just about as easy to repost programs to the Archive, giving full credit to the original Author and perhaps asking Rob to delete or flag the original Archive listing with a "DEAD LINK" notice.
Hmmm maybe the forum can encourage members who encounter a dead link to other archive listings to post a request to the forum as Pete, Did. and/or notify Rob to flag the Archive listing as having a dead link.
We might incrementally be able to clean up the archive a bit in such manner.

After a politician promised better and cheaper Internet ... the providers retaliated. Hence, my upload failed.
After trying again: http://www.rapideuphoria.com/uploads/soop.zip is a temporary upload.

We might incrementally be able to clean up the archive a bit in such manner.
Although more Phix-biased, you could also/instead edit PCAN, where you can freely add notes/votes to entries, upload replacements, and mark/unmark entries as [[!superceded]], [[!rejected]], [[!broken]], [[!rds-hosted]] etc.
In particular, put [[!broken]] on anything you think someone should take a look at or re-upload.
I just updated http://phix.x10.mx/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.SimplisticObjectOrientedProgrammingLibrary - I see tom managed to update the SOOP entry in the archive directly, but I doubt that I could.
