Does anyone know how to reset the last modified date on a windows xp file?
I have a couple of files with a date way in the future. Changing the file
and saving it won't reset the date.

Not sure about XP, but this works under W98:
Go to a DOS window. Then:
copy /b filename+,,

This action is usually called "touch". Maybe you can get a program by this
name in the Web. I had one, but don't remember where...

I have saved a video (with sound) from my sony recorder to DVD using Tivo
and would like to do some clipping of sections to make another shorter DVD.
Does anyone have a recommendation of an editor that will do this?

George,

I recently got Adobe Premier Elements and I LOVE it! It's easy to use, so far
bug free and decently priced. I think right now you can find off the shelf
copies with a $30 rebate.

This thing is missing on one of my win98 computers and it fusses each time
its booted. Can anyone tell me what it does and where to find it to
reinstall it?

YJQCAWB.EXE

in win.ini the statement..... run=YJQCAWB.EXE exists which causes the
fussing.

it's not on my other win98 computers.

sounds/looks like (or could possibly be) an attempt to run a virus on
bootup. just delete the filename from the line so it reads

run=
