1. Peu license(if any)

What license is Pete's interpreter under?  In one of his posts he said it 
was open source, but there are many different interpretations of open source.
I was doing some modifications on it, but I thought I should first check to
see what license it has.  There's nothing in his files that tells.
Just thought I'd ask.

It's public domain.  I've given up on the project, but Menno has been happily
hacking away at the source for quite some time.  His site is here:
