Sorry, Jerry, i support China's opposition to organised religions. The
Catholic church in particular, for the catholics oppose birth control, and i
have read history, the millions of deaths from starvation about every 15-20
years. Had there been no effort to keep the population down, there would
have been even more lingering painful deaths. Many of the institutionalized
biggotries in the usa originated in religious settings, and once in any
power, religions tend to rewrite history. This country was not founded on
xtianity, despite what the xtians say. And Joan of Arc did not live to
worship the xtian god after she was burned alive at the stake by the xtians,
despite what the Radio Shack "Bible On A CD" says. In no god do i trust,
despite what it says on my money. And i do not believe in the usa justice
system, even if there is a prominent "pagan" goddess on display in almost
every courthouse in the country.... guess which goddess i speak of? And
your god,, what's his name?,, he is the god of light, right?,, Lucifer?

I think Russia made a mistake when they recognised one of the religions
there as the only state religion, and the only officially recognised one. They
should have stayed out of it. Like George Carlin said, religion is a crutch,
lets stop forcing crutches onto people with peer pressure and repeated
chanting of cliches. If you need a myth for emotional or moralistic support,
look around the world, there are hundreds of them, and each believes it is
the one true religion.

I may not agree with the methods either side uses to accomplish it's goals.
I separate morality from theology.

Kat,
stay off the kats, they can defend themselves.
