No, this is indeed by design. I was trying to implement parts of your idea at http://openeuphoria.org/forum/m/119592.wc

all edits should be tagged with EDIT: and subjected to the recent file list as wiki pages are now.

It's slightly over that now. http://openeuphoria.org/wiki/view/EuWebDeployHistory.wc

yes! well. on further reflection I realized it might have just been easier to push to the wiki so the edits would appear on recent view if not the most ideal destination. edits & deletions do factor in more than a few over long forum posts!

but, it could be confusing for someone working on the wiki, not to mention, being on the wiki they might also be edited and further confused by edits within a few minutes being condensed.

they should probably be removed from the wiki's recent changes page if they are duplicated there.

eventually 3 and 4d monitors will make such things orders of magnitude easier to view and understand.

Yes, exactly. The main reason for the choice of using the wiki for this was "ease of implemenation."

Well, this is also by design. If someone (the same user) is doing a lot of edits to a forum post in a short period, it's probably better to condense the edits in the rss/recent changes. If a person really wants to see the entire history, it's as easy as visiting the lastest saved edit on the wiki and then visiting the history link.

This is a good idea. I'll work on getting this to happen.

I've love to have a 4d monitor. As an aside, will it be able to do time-travel too?

maybe just keep the initial page addition off the recent change page, then let the wiki handle any edits of the page normally to track anyone nuts enough to want to edit their edits. an admit could still outright delete a page if that was required.
