Hello. Selgor here.
What is the code to bind .ex proggies ?. Please do not tell to use binder, or bind.bat..
On my machine neither works.
Someone must know the way it used to be done to bind .ex files..
I had never used bind. I had no need, even though I had a paid copy of Euphoria. But now I do need to bind. My original copy is long gone..
In anticipation.
Cheers.
Selgor.

Hello.
I thought this would work.
bind -full_debug "C:\EUPHORIA\uze\1.ex" .
Above is an example only.
But no luck. Well, someone may express his/her knowledge.
Cheers. Selgor.

What's the problem? Does this program run with the interpreter normally? You said that you want to bind, but not use the binder. I'm not sure what sort of advice you're looking for. Have you tried the translator?

Another question I have is what version of Euphoria are you using? You mentioned buying the full version ... perhaps you wish to use a Complete Edition era bind.ex ? (which worked very differently from today's bind.bat)

Hello Jim, Matt.
Selgor here.
Way back when I first came across Euphoria, there were 2 versions. One was the free but limited version. It could not bind. You had to buy Euphoria to get this feature. So I did. But that programme has gone from any of my machines long ago.
The reason I cannot use binder or bind.bat is that my "command.com" will not work. Any .ex proggies will not open, let alone run.
So I thought Euphoria might have a dos emulation programme.
Anyway, I found a dos emulation programme . It's called DosBox. It did the trick.
Thank you Matt, and Jim. Each of you can always be relied upon to help.
Oh, yes, next time I will explain more clearly the problem. Not the poor way I did this time with this problem.
Thanks again.
Cheers.
Selgor.
