Hello,
I'm playing around with Euphoria for about 2 days now and I really like it. Especially the versatility of only 2 types.
Testing the examples provided for http_get, e.g. google_tts.ex and wget.ex I noticed that they do not seem to do anything. I get an empty return value. Tracing only displays a branching which checks if the command line parameter's length is greater than 3.
The WGet clone produces nearly similar results, with any url.
I'm running this on Win7 32 bit (UAC off, enabling it through a firewall).
The docs don't mention that this would be a non-Windows feature, so I assume it is supported. Also, the socket module seems to work, the http daemon runs fine.
Thought I ask before I start debugging http.e :)
Edit: Interestingly, it works flawlessly when I compile it to C using euc.
edit2: It turns out that this is solved already in the 4.1 developer binaries, tried with eubin-2011-06-29-3739d931e005.zip' and 'google_tts.ex' from the 4.03 demo and it works. Still no idea what the bug was, but now at least I know that it was an interpreter issue :)
