1. euc & eubind crashes but eushroud succeeds in 4.0.3 Linux

Do I need to submit a bug report? I was under the impression that another release is immanent.

3. Re: euc & eubind crashes but eushroud succeeds in 4.0.3 Linux

I discovered the failure of euc & eubind was due to files left in the root directory by after uninstalling the euphoria_4.0.3_i386.deb package. I am now using euphoria installed from euphoria-4.0.3-Linux-ix86.tar.gz.

I knew that the previous euphoria installation files/folders where still in the root directory, but I thought that because I had removed the configuration file and set all my paths and environment variables to the current installation, everything would work.

The error message generated when euc failed to link referenced a file in /usr/lib/ which led me to believe the previously installed files might be the problem.

I had to manually remove all the previously installed files, but once that was euc and eubind performed flawlessly.

Sorry for the false report.
