1. Video: Setting up a Euphoria development environment

I recently suffered from a hard drive crash and have read questions in the past about getting a development environment up and running for working on Euphoria. So, when reinstalling my environment I decided to record it. This is the result. I'm a newbie to youtube and would do a few things differently if I did this again but not for this one. If you want to make any sense of it, you'll need to watch in in HD and full screen, sorry.

Oh, this is for Windows and MinGW.

Thanks Jeremy,
I'll follow your directions and use MinGW instead of Watcom; maybe add a mention of this to the other thread (dropping Watcom)

I quite liked that, though as you say it was a little blurry. I wouldn't mind having a go myself at something similar, both for work and at home. What did you use to make it and how long did it all take?

Well, it's not actually blury if you view it in HD and full screen, but it's less than optimal. Now, as to what I used, I just used Magix Movie Edit Pro: http://www.magix.com/us/movie-edit-pro/, which is what I use for my home movie compliations. There are fancy screen casting programs you can get that make things easier, I just didn't want to deal with it. Probably would have made a better end result, but not really sure.

As for the time? I went through the whole process once making sure I was doing it right and everything worked (grin) and then I turned on the screen capture and did it all again. After that I'd say 20 minutes of editing. Overall? Probably around an hour.

I found: http://www.screenr.com/ ... You can record screen casts online w/just your browser (and the Java plugin). Ease as could be. It, however, has a limit on its free account to 5 minutes of recording time. So, if you want to use it and go further than 5 minutes you'll have to create two screen casts.
