I also use EuWinGui - love it for quick apps although the control movement leaves me a bit 'cold' ... :)

also i think there is not very much demand for it, i startet a little project to make the Designer a little more userfriendly.
The project now turns in a stage where it needs some more intensiv testing, but it is far away from being complete/stabel enough for publishing it. If someone like to test, please tell me i gonna send it via email (or if there is really great demand, put it on a server for download ;))).
For now you can move/resize the dialog/button/listbox/edit controls,using the mouse. The static controls needs some more work.

Selgor here. Andreas , have you looked at Scroller by Fred Mangan. It is in the Latest User Contributions main Euphoria site. Uses EuWinGui. Is a good programme. Check it Out .

Hi Seigor, Golly, someone noticed something I wrote (Scroller)? It's sometimes a bit like dropping stones into a deep well. I'm very enthusiastic about EuWinGUI. As someone said earlier it's a great little environment for putting a functioning program together. Sure it's a bit limited but you can often figure something out to work around that. Was this discourse started by Andrea? If she is thinking about doing something more with EuWinGui I'd be first to give a big cheer! I've tried EuWinGui for Eu4 (J Brown's updateing of it to Eu4). Broadly, it works well but there is a problem with screen flicker if you try rapid graphics. Also, his adaptation of the Designer can't read the Designer files it writes.

Hello Fred. Yes it seems an abyss. Under another name I wrote many .ex programmes and sent them in. Not once did I get any feedback. So I considered they were not up to standard. So I know the feeling. Because I have written minor progs using euwingui I was interested to see how you treated graphics using it. I was impressed. I did not think it could do such things. The discourse was started by andi. I misread his note thinking he was andreas. And I addressed him as such. I hope I didn't frighten him away. As for Andrea returning.... would doubt that very much. Congratulations on "Scroller" , Fred . I have never hit the target by the way in a hundred "goes" .

Hallo Selgor you did not fright me away :) my name is Andreas (in Germany this is a males name) andi is the short form for andreas here. I just wanted to know if there is some interest to have a easier to use Designer for the EuWinGui from Andrea Cini. (btw. andrea is a males name in italy and greece, where in Germany it is a female name)
So, again. I started to rewrite the Designer for EuWinGui and i put it on the RapidEuphoria archive. I know my programming skills are not this good. But i give my best.
i still think there is a place for a really easy to use IDE and Library. Becouse I think most people spend more time learning to interface with a GUI(API) than learning a programming language.
Also i got not one line of feedback (except 2 people near to me) i will go on becouse there are for now over 100 downloads of the package.
I ask again if someone is willing for testing and write some feedback.
