I was going to give it a quick test as soon as I got to work, but that didn't happen (and it wasn't even all the Jubilee Line's fault).

On a Windows XP system I have tried both eins033.zip and Windows Installer for Edita. Both appear to be corrupt. The Zip file expanded to an empty folder and 7-Zip refused to open it at all. Running the Installer soon produced a warning that the file was corrupt.

Both appear to be corrupt.
I've tried them both here and they appear to be fine, though byethost is not the best file server and it did say "done" a couple of times when less than half the file had been transferred. I'll have time on Friday to try putting them on 4shared.com or similar.

Hello Pete. Selgor here.Edita has NEVER worked for me.But when I saw this post I thought .. New Version.. New Day..Downloaded with IZARC the eins.zip file. Bingo. All well. A O.K. . I could not believe it. Edita , at last , is working for me. Notice there is no edita.exe . I just hope it keeps going Cheers. Selgor.

I have tried transfering both the zip and the exe again.
This time I noticed that both transfers stopped far too soon.
One only transfered 0.99MB, the other only 1.08MB.
The web site says they should be both 3.2MB.

I reckon they are a just a bit shy and timid. I downloaded them here at work and they are fine, but then again I bet you're not sitting right on top of the city internet backbone like I am - my boss apparently picked this building because if a jumbo jet hits canary wharf we should be just outside the carnage.
Like I said, I'll have a look for some alternatives tomorrow.

I downloaded eins035.zip easily.
It shows up as 3,216 Kb, and unzips nicely using IZArc software.
I could not download the installer.

The unZip isn't the problem.
The problem is getting it to download in the first place.
I probably wouldn't have realised that but for the earlier comment about stopping short.
After repeated attempts to download I managed to get the ZIP file and 7-Zip unzipped it and I have successfully run Edita. I still only got about 1MB of the EXE file, but I suppose I won't need it now.
