RC2 was not a disaster, many, many, many bugs were fixed. In the process of fixing those bugs 2 bugs were created, 2 of which you depended on but not too many others, in fact Euphoria it self (which is a rather large Euphoria project) nor any of the projects that were tested on a routine basis. RC2 was far better than RC1, far, far, far better. Just so happens you hit the right spot on RC2 which we were very greatful for (i.e. they were fixed before the official 4.0.0 release).

Anyway, the reason I am saying this is that forum messages that say such a thing are all indexed by bots (we are indexed continually by quite a few index bots of course google and yahoo being two of them) and not good for Euphoria. If there is a problem, it is far better to state the problem you are experiencing instead of a message stating that XYZ stinks and is the worst thing ever. Generalizing a single release as terrible due to the existance of a bug that happens to affect you is bad. Just speak about the bug.

With that said, I am very glad that the official release has fixed the problems you were experiencing, Yay!
