1. New Mascot/Logo

Many have been wondering what the mongoose is in the upper left corner of our website and now in our PDF manual as well. It's our new mascot! We have went through several logo type threads with varying opinions as to what is good or bad. In the mean time 4.0 completion was drawing close. Smudger then gave some suggestions and examples that quite a few people really enjoyed. We asked him for more help for our mascot and logo. A few days later dev team had a report from him about various languages, mascot/logo examples and impact plus his suggestions based off of input from the forum and the dev team directly.
Our mongoose is what we finally came up with and decided on. In the end we realized that many mascots and logos really have nothing to do with the product they represent, thus is the case with our Mongoose. Some have brought up the point that the Mongoose has no problems defending itself and attacking snakes, but we'll leave that to your imagination and it wasn't a real reason for going with the Mongoose.
Now, our Logo is not yet integrated with the website but can be found in the PDF manual. We call them Claw Braces. They are considered the staple of Euphoria by many.
Smudger has created various files for us including SVG files, TTF font files with our logo type, PNGs, JPEGs and more. I've just put online the wallpapers that Smudger has created for us. After Christmas, I'll put the other files online for people to see and use.
I've created a wiki page for this, wiki:ArtWork.
Smudger has went through a lot of time researching, discussing, suggesting and finally editing effort to bring this mascot and logo decision to a close. Thank you very much for your hard work on this difficult task.

Of course, mongooses are better known for fighting cobras than certain constrictor snakes, but still.
I like it. I can't wait to see the O'Reilly book cover

I do know the top secret of this mascot.
Really it is not a mongoose.
It is Fantomas!
