Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere, but any chance Euphoria will support 64 bit Windows in the future?
Also, how is the support for low level IO (SATA, USB, serial)?
Thanks!

Yes! There is actually a branch that does support 64-bit. It was just completed a tad too late to be included in 4.0. 64-bit support will be released in version 4.1 and will be available via eubins long before release date since it's already complete.

Euphoria does not support these items directly. However, interfacing with a C library is trivial in Euphoria.

Currently, only tested on Linux. Windows has some fundamental differences that make it hard to port this port to Windows, even using MinGW.
OpenWatcom does not and likely will not support 64-bit Windows, however 4.0 supports MinGW and support for MSVC exists in development and will probably make it into 4.1
