1. [Forum] something's changed; what and why?

I noticed the other day that something has changed about the visual presentation of the forum, not sure exactly what, though it looks "dimmer" or "paler", & doesn't seem in that respect to be an improvement.

A few weeks ago colours were added to the tables for the purpose of the manual, however they fell over onto the forum as well. The CSS was updated to apply that table coloring to the manual tables only.
Is that what you are seeing?

Yes, I think that's the difference, and I think the coloring on the forum looked nice and maybe should be returned?

The coloring affected all tables, even forms, tickets, etc... It also took away the stippling on tables such as the message list and ticket list which helps the eye see different rows. Maybe some coloring can be added but I don't think a blanket th/td color should be applied.
